Hello Reader,

And now for something completely different...

I’m excited to share the details of Fundamentals of Facilitation - a dynamic, cutting edge and brand new Professional Mastery course from Shakti Shiva Academy starting 16 May 2024.

Taught by myself and Claire Rumore, this course is for facilitators, educators, practitioners, bodyworkers, coaches, therapists, erotic healers, people who are passionate about sex education and individuals seeking personal and professional growth. The course focuses on embodied facilitation training, and aims to empower participants in their personal and professional lives. If you are working with groups (or you would like to learn to work with groups) and your desire is to bring sensuality, sexuality and eroticism into your spaces, and you want to get really good at that, then this course is for you!

Facilitation is different from teaching or coaching. Fundamentally, it is about developing the capacity to be in the flow of what is happening in the room and learning how to both steer and guide people through an experience, while also giving them a lot of space to have their own unique experience…

This cutting edge curriculum has been specifically developed & designed for practitioners who want to be working with groups around sexuality. Over the course of one year together, we will experientially explore and learn the practical and esoteric skills you need to be a fabulous, present and expansive facilitator of other people's experiences - including all aspects of their sexuality - their eroticism, desire, fantasy, beliefs, compulsions, addictions and their deepest longings for intimacy & pleasure…

During this 1-year course, you will learn:

✶ How to facilitate from a place of humility, emptiness and ‘knowing nothing’ even as you’re experienced and thoroughly prepared

✶ How to be fully in your power and your vulnerability at the same time

✶ How to guide from a place of unwavering presence in your body

✶ How to radically trust the moment, your intuition and your body-knowing

✶ How to have both solid ground and fluidity in your facilitation?

✶ How to be firmly rooted in your center even while turmoil or chaos is around you

✶ How to source deep love, compassion and acceptance for yourself, others and the process that’s unfolding

Registration for Fundamentals of Facilitation is open until Wednesday 15 May.

Course starts 16 May 2024.

Read more and register here.

Warmly,
MarciaB

Hi Reader, My household is down with the Vagueplague this week, meaning, two housemates have Covid and the rest of us have dialed back our in-person activities until we see how it all shakes out. So far so good, but that meant all my fun weekend plans were canceled. 😞 I also gave up Instagram for Lent. I’m not Catholic, but a period of structured intentionality around my vices? Sounds good to me. It turns out that Instagram is pretty bad for me. And I love it. What’s a girl to do? For the...

HiReader, If you want a shortcut to good sex, a list of activities is unlikely to get you there. As much as doing certain sexy activities can be very fun, most of us don’t have sex because we want to mechanically do the activity, but because we like how certain things make us feel. To get where you want to go in bed, consider what feelings or moods you want to experience during sex. Do you want to feel cherished, beloved, worshiped or lusted over? Or perhaps you want to feel used, spent,...
